Easy to use and works well

I thought my Fiskars axe was sharp straight out of the packaging but with a few passes of the blade through this, I could almost shave with it. It puts a really good edge on the blade and is so easy to use. It is very lightweight and "plasticky" but that shouldn't be a problem if you look after it. I've already dropped it onto concrete from about 4 feet and it was fine. I've not used the knife sharpener part yet but don't see any reason why it wouldn't be as good as the axe sharpener.Read full review...

Very disappointing

Fiskars products are normally good quality, but sad to say this isn't. Flimsy plastic that looks fragile and very light which makes using difficult. Tried in large axe with minimal affect, tried smaller axe too thick to fit to use. Knife section just as bad , overall waste of time, effort and money, my advice buy something else. Sharp knives

Good sharpener

This is a good quality blade sharpener that actually works well. Being able to change the receiver for larger blades makes it infinatley useable

Decent little sharpener

Did exactly as described. The Fiskars axe is very sharp, took all the little knicks out too. It even sharpened a hand axe that has never been sharpened in 7 years, and was blunter than a butter knife in about 20 minutes.
