One of the best blag films I've seen. A bit dated now but it doesnt matter. Great performances from Phil Davis, Winstone, Carlyle, Steve Waddington as the "Lenny" character and the late Peter "Grouty" Vaughan. Sad, exciting and extremely violent. great english film. good british actors. seen film a few years ago but could never find it in a shop. but found it on ebay. the sort of film i can watch over and over again.

Solid British gangster flick that seemed to go under the radar.

Solid British gangster/heist movie...hard hitting with a few laughs thrown in.Some classic one liners and a little tongue in cheek acting from a wealth of British talent draws me back to this flick often...great with a few mates round and a beer or three.Seemed to go unnoticed when released which was a shame as it has a great cast and is more fun to watch than a lot of big budget heist movies.Not quite as good in my opinion as Love Honor & Obey which is another classic British movie but well worth a look.Read full review...

I see this film years ago and really enjoyed it, every where i go i look to see if i can buy it, but i can never find it. I looked on ebay and found it straight away. awesome british crime thriller, winstone is god!

ray winstone at his ever god like self, assisted by carlisle and co, very cool dark british crime/thriller gritty and fast moving! highly reccommended

it will be inter4esting to watch because it has got damon albarn in it and he is my favourite singer and it will be nice to see what he is like as a actor and not just a singer
