don't expect too much

it is easy to see why americans will never give up their love affair with the firearm. even the children carry them in this series. too much time spent on saccharine scenes extolling mother and apple pie family values detract from what eventually developed into a reasonable (if predictable) science fiction comic book story. despite being part of the last 10% of humanity our survivors seem too clean and cliched. Their aliens invaders vary in cgi graphics quality.
plot holes, unexplained or not developed story lines and an uncertainty of tone may have scuppered this. but I'll buy the next series if I can get it cheap enough to see what happensRead full review...
