Ammunition has a weight value

This game is not a direct sequeal to Fallout 3.
It offers a similar role playing experience.
The game is based in a post apocalyptic open world type environment in the area of Las Vegas Nevada.<br>The story line sucked me in. There is a Hard Core mode which I prefer to play in making the game more real in a lot of way and adding intensity to the game play.
As an example Stimpaks and other healing items, including food and water, do not heal the player instantly, but work over a short period of time.

I like this game a lot, I can waste a lot of time here playing.

easy, and when I receive it , it is exactly what it said it is.

I bought this product for my son.
my first time buying things online, was quite worry, but it was so easy and quick and no hassle at all.
The product must work very well, since he got it, he's been playing the game as soon as he finish his school work.Read full review...

Fallout New Vegas

I really enjoyed Fallout 3, being a fan of the previous fallouts. I had heard that some of the quests and story ideas for Van Buren (The 'fallout 3' that got canned years ago when Interplay went bust) had gone into New Vegas and wanted to try them out. I'll write this review from the perspective of someone who has played and enjoyed fallout 3.

Arguably it's an expansion pack because it uses the same engine and is very much the same type of game but with some interesting changes. Slightly smaller than fallout 3, but that is still plenty for an entire game. You are in the east coast of America as the name would suggest and it lets it be quite separate to the first game, and excuse the different feel to it. New items, weapons, and a revised levelling mechanic makes the game seem slightly different. The green tint of fallout 3 is gone and you have the manilla of the desert, and some interesting new factions to think about as you wander around.

One gripe, which I have held since fallout 3 has made this 4/5 rather than 5, but is entirely me being a pedant: Nobody knows how to clean anything. I get that fallout 3 had to convey a ruined world to us, and one that is struggling to emerge from the poisonous ruins, but to have people living for 200 years and not pick up the paper and rusty cans gets irritating, especially when quite populated areas are still shown 'in ruins'. Part of the greatness of Fallout 1 & 2 was the diversity, I particularly liked 'vault city' but there is no equivalent here. It's like the art department only drew broken ruins and so the level designers accidentally made the islands of civilisation appear paradoxically desolate.

I got the physical dvd for PC, but popping the code into my steam account I found that it got confirmed and added to my list of owned games! This is great. I have paid for my game and now I can install it anywhere without the dvd or the code. That's the future of games, for sure! Sorry eBay..

Great game, just dont buy it preowned as you'll never be able to play it

This is very important, do not ever by preowned pc games as i purchased this game, aware that it had been used but unaware that the product key code has to be registered with a programme called steam in order to play the game, therefore once the original owner puts in the product key only the original owner can use the game. the game is pretty much useless now as i can not play it or in fact sell it on.Read full review...
