Quiet, slim, moves enough air even at low speed.

Purchased this to replace an ageing 80x15mm case fan in my Silverstone micro-atx slim desktop case. The old fan was noisy, which may have been due to age, and did not have PWM speed control. The old fan completely drowned out the CPU fan and the PSU fan.

The AKASA made a huge difference. I set it for the lowest speed setting available in the UEFI (BIOS) of my motherboard, until the temp rises to above 50C, at which point the speed would start to increase. It has not hit 50C yet, not even 40C, even after many hours, so remains at slowest speed which is around 1300~1400RPM. Perhaps in high summer I will see the speed increase. But for now the AKASA fan is whisper quiet, noticeably quieter than the CPU fan and similar to the PSU fan.

My only warning would be that the wires from the fan to the plug are not quite as long as I would have liked. My case's fan is an intake fan at the front of the case, but the socket on my motherboard is towards the rear, probably because the motherboard was designed with a rear-mounted exhaust fan in mind. The wires just about reach the socket, but another 20~30mm would have been a more comfortable fit.

Not That Good

Not That Good

These are pretty poor for akasa, this company usually make good fans but this one is pretty terrible, not very good airflow and rather loud at full speed, id say it's the worst fan they make.

The blades are very flimsy and it's performance is very mediocre. the exact opposite of the akasa 120mm slim fan, they are top notch and are extremely quiet with great airflow.
