I'm a little disappointed the description didn't say anything about this DVD being letterbox (I loathe letterbox) and curse the people that ever came up with it, I tried to zoom and my TV won't let let me get rid of the black bars, I feel that's 8 inches of wasted picture space, I just wish I would have known that it was in this format I avoid it like the plague, the DVD played wonderfully had a few more scratches for very good but not a skip, second spin please make the description accurate.Read full review

As an animal lover, I really enjoyed this story based on a young wizard coming to NYC with a suitcase full of creatures. His gentle compassionate nature was a striking contrast from the people he encounters.
