Well...it doesn't work

So buying this on PS3 is probably not a great idea. First, the download and install time for the updates as well as loading the game data, are flat out epic. You may be thinking 3 or 4 hrs but think much much bigger. Since either the download or the install of the download failed on one of the 22 updates each time. I can't tell you how long it is supposed to take but I worked at it for 6 days before giving up. You have to download 1 update, load the game and let it install, then quit and update number 2 and so on.But because if the install fails on update 15, you will have to start over with update 1. That's Sony and Polyphonics official fix to this known problem. I am sure that this is a great game, but understand that with a PS3, you may never get to play it.Read full review

Great Game

Probably my favorite Far Cry game. It didn’t feel as repetitive as some of the previous games. Only negative I might mention is I wish they would give the option to increase type size for all games. I could hardly read what was being said the type size was so small and it didn’t stay on the screen very long. Best in the series!

I absolutely love this game. To me it's the best in the far cry series. It's very surreal to be taken back to the primitive state and fight for survival. I definitely hope a sequel is produced.
