Shredder
This shredder is excellent, does not stop after a few minutes and then you have to wait until it cools down. It takes several pages without any effort and is very easy to use and the container holds a lot of shredded paper. I highly recommend this shredder. It is also great value for money.Read full review

A weak shredder!
Looks good and is solid in construction.
Operationally it is a very poor product. Keeps jamming with paper in the knives. The motor labours when yo put 3 or more standard A4 papers through.

Works well and is fitted with a thermal trip so is nice and safe.
An improvement would be a sight panel to see how full the case is but I woulder if this worth the extra work on the base

Excellent shredder
This shredder is ideal for home or light office usage. It is fairly quiet compared to most and does an excellent job. A minor criticism is it would have been better with a removable slide-out bin for emptying as the top is quite heavy but this is not a major issue.
I have not had it long enough to give an opinion on its long term performance but would recommend this machine as being great value for money. Read full review

Effective shredder which seems well built. Why there is an annoying 'safety' switch I cannot understand. If it is intended to keep kids from fiddling I'm sure they will work that out in a trice. Far better to remove the power cord from the mains.as a safety precaution. Not a problem for my use but some would like a disk and credit card shredding facility although that might compromise the effectiveness of the main paper shredding function.Read full review

A Good Replacement Shredder
I was sceptical when it arrived, the box was more damaged than I’d expected, but it looked like it had been tried and tested and was in excellent condition.
My last unit was a strip cut shredder which was struggling to cut through three sheets.

Need to try using it some more
It worked well - until after 5 minutes it got completely jammed. I applied the Fellowes oil over blades but that didn't have any effect, so I had to unscrew the top to reach and release the jammed fragments of paper. I'm now worried about using it if it is going to jam every time - but we'll see, it is early days. I don't feel I can answer the three questions above about value and quality until I've tried using it a bit more. Read full review
