Efficient and great value
The shredder is efficient and great value; the only downside is the need to remove the heavy shredder mechanism to empty the box - perhaps this is a feature of more expensive models.

OK for light home use
This shredder does a perfectly adequate job if you are just shredding the odd piece of junk mail or a few sheets of unwarned financial information. The shredder is rated at 10 sheets but I found that it stalled / jammed with this number of sheets. Four sheets max is all I dare use. The machine is quite noisy compared to my previous shredder (Fellowes OD1200 strip shredder) and the motor slows considerably when shredding anything more than 2 sheets of paper at a time. The SafeSense feature is useful but I doubt you'd be able to get even the smallest of fingers into the cutter slot anyway. The loading slot is flush with the surface and I definitely don't find inserting sheets as easy as it was with my previous shredder that had a 'V' entry slot.Read full review

Very disappointing.
my previous fellowes was a contained unit, this one requires two hands to see how full the container entailing lifting off the top there spreading shreedings everywhere and then finding
somewhere to put the top whilst emptying the bin.
A case of redesigning a perfectly good product resulting in a worse result, very disappointing.Read full review

shredder not good quality
not impressed with shredder, impossible to shred the advertised amount of paper together as it literally stops the machine plus the cross cut shredder is not as fine as my last machine which was considerably cheaper so would not recommend this shredder,it is not in my opinion value for money,I think you are paying a premium for the name which is not justifiedRead full review

good shredder
Good solid shredder top . Box a bit flexible but good capacity. It would be handy to have a couple of recess's for grip at the base of the box to make it easier to handle when emptying .
It's good enough by your desk
This machine will not shred the number of sheets claimed, no way. It's definitely not quiet. It needs really regular oiling, don't neglect this. Nevertheless, it does the job as a good companion by your desk.Read full review

Fellowes 60Cs very good machine.
Does what it says on the box.
I did have an issue with a previous Shredder where the "Safe Sense" light would randomly stick on which seems quite widely reported. It must have been a fault on that particular machine. When this was swapped out, my new machine works a treat.
I am a document management professional and using a document shredder to avoid identity theft is a "must do" practice what I preach action.
This shreds up documents into small confetti and could not possibly be identifies other than odd words or numbers. Very good peace of mind. Read full review
Replacement for the same model.
Well made, will sure paper, small paper clips, plastic credit cards and staples. Easy to use and will shed 10 sheets o A4f paper. Should be oiled after each fill. Recommended product

Quieter than previous version
This was a replacement for a Fellowes 50 series which had given great service. This one is similar but quieter. So far so good
