It worked well. Mounted it to the rack on the front of my ATV. The wood screws that attach the bin to the mount seem like a cheap mounting system but it works with no issues. A spray deflector would be helpful to keep the material from getting all over the operator. A thousand times better than a push type spreader and well worth the money.Read full review

Okay for the cost, will have to work on

For the money it’s not a bad spreader. A couple of things I dealt with using it the first time, wire connections for atv battery aren’t user friendly, I cut them off and spliced alligator clips on each end for quick hookup. Mounting the spreader to the atv rack can be a pain depending on your atv rack. Last thing, the feeder gate gets fertilizer pellets stuck into the tracks between gate and the hopper and will not operate with adjustable handle. Pulled the cable housing out of bracket, so after that I had to hold the cable and operate the adjustment handle. I was able to fix that but I’m sure will do it again with the next use. Definitely beats using a walk behind spreader if you have several acres to cover.Read full review

The wheels are steel and the tires are flat free so there is good weight down low making for a lower center of gravity. It didn't tip over on steep slopes. The usual nylon gears with plastic gear case and handle that needed to be modified to reach the drivers seat (easy to do). Three welds and the rest are bolts. Worked well on my hilly, bumpy lawn. Inexpensive little spreader.

Really simple (which is good), easy to install and does the job. I found that the hopper bottom is flat and the way it mounts to the carrier rack on my side by side, it has a forward lean. I took an hour and built an insert to funnel material to the opening so it would completely clean out. Read full review
