Good solid bed-good storage

I needed a good storage bed for my son-he is 20 and 6 foot 2! This gives him a few inches for comfort. It has six good sized drawers. And 3 good sized shelves under the steps. These do have reinforcement bars, I was a bit worried about this as my son is no lightweight.It took me 7 hours to build with a couple of bits of help for lifting.I followed the instructions very carefully, but they are not always clear-especially on placing the drawer runners and the drawer front panels.Also it would be better to build the frame first as trying to put the back panel on after putting the front one on is tricky. it was not until I had finished and stepped back that I realised the bottom middle drawer panel had the raw edge showing and not the grey one. Too late!!!!! Overall am happy with the bed-just a shame that there is so much wasted space behind the drawers. If you could access it it would double the storage space.Read full review...
