Tactical RPG that I'm in love with
To be honest I was unsure how much I would enjoy this game. I knew about Ike and Fire Emblem in general due to my love for smash bros. Yet now, after sinking countless hours into this game I am sure. It is absolutely wonderful. In fairness I do love RPG's and when done right I can appreciate strategy games as well. As a person who is fairly new to this type of tactical RPG I can say that it is good and fairly challenging. Let me stress, I am not a patient person and often times 1 in game battle sequence will take over an hour, but in Fire Emblem I am too busy planning ahead my next move or rooting for my character when they get a defensive kill. Overall, there is a learning curve and this game has no problem showing you who the boss is. Especially when you are about to win and one of your character dies permanently. It is very rewarding when you finally finish a phase while sustaining minimum casualties though, and you will be compelled to push forward. I love this game and definitely recommend it! Simply amazing.
Continuing the tradition of Fire Emblem, Path of Radiance is an amazing game with an interesting story. While yes many part of it are just rehashing the older games. Noble driven from home by unexpected war with the militaristic nation of the lands that is actually being driven by a darker force behind the scenes, there are a few noticeable changes.
First would like Ike, while he is the player character he is not nobility. Second is the laguz, while yes there have been a few dragon people in the past they were anyways rare and either highly limited or unused for combat, in this one it is three whole races o f creatures; beast which are feline, birds and dragons, that have the ability to transform into a full animal form for a limited number of turns and gain large bonuses but can only attack in transformed state.Third is the base screen which allows for more preparation than the standard chapter battle prep screens, which it still has. Everything from custom items to special conversations to bonus exp. Fourth system, okay Gamecube is far from perfect but being released on it allowed for better graphics and limited voice acting than the NES, SNES and GBA.
Overall it is one of my favorite games and while I think it is vastly overpriced it is worth picking up if you find it. I finally decided to bite the bullet and get my own after having beat it by borrowing it.
Remember strategy is required this is not a spawn point reached shooter or a save point reached grind till you win RPG. This is a strategy game where something minor like missing out on a character or losing a character can cripple you. Read full review

Aged but still great.
If you want to get into Classic Fire Emblem, its worth it if you're willing to pay $125 or more. But play the GBA titles first if you're unsure. The game has cheesy voice acting but it wasn't as bad as I expected. The combat is tense and takes a bit more planning that Awakening, Fates, and a good chunk of Three Houses. I've only gotten to Chapter 7 but I'm excited to play more.Read full review

Great game worth the price
I'm so happy that I was able to buy this game at a much lower than market price. It's fortunate that the disc still works perfectly, as I have been waiting a long time to play this game. I'm not that far into the game, but so far I think I'm going to enjoy the rest of it. Fire Emblem games are usually amazing, and Path of Radiance is certainly a shining example (so far) of how awesome the games are.Read full review

Plays well and has a great story
I would prefer the cover and manual but the most important part is the price which was cheaper than most other places. The game itself was great and worked perfectly.

Good entry for the FE series
Path of Radiance is one of the better written Fire Emblem games in my opinion. The characters also are more distinct and fleshed out with their own stories, some more so than others. The story is pretty gripping, with a sequel that answers questions on how loose ends tie up, with an insane end part. Any fan of the franchise would enjoy this game, and people who are into strategy games would probably like this as well. Read full review

Great game, Why so high?
I've always been an FE fan since GBA, though I have never played the Radiant series. I don't see why it's so expensive though.
5/5 good game.

Pricey but worth what I paid for how rare this game is
Bought this for $94.00, steep but good luck finding at a long price in complete form. Game runs great on Dolphin. Enjoying the game so far, haven't finished it yet but I have high hopes since I've heard great things about the Tellius FE games.Read full review

For the Fire Emblem fans, another must have
Gameplay is what you expect, challenging and fun, unfortunately not as cheap as other games so expect to dig in your wallet a tad to obtain a copy but otherwise worth it
