If you enjoy the Fire Emblem series, you'll get a decent amount of enjoyment out of this game. It's very similar to the Dynasty Warrior games that come out pretty frequently, except with the newer cast of Fire Emblem characters. Most of the characters are from the last 2 3DS games, so if you enjoyed them, you'll enjoy seeing them again here. Each character is unique and voiced as you would expect them to. The game can get a little stale at times as you are basically doing the same thing over and over just on different maps, so to get around this I recommend playing in smaller chunks.Read full review

Not what we were hoping for.

We were hoping for a classic, turn-based RPG or at LEAST some elements reminiscent of such games that came earlier in the series. This plays more like a Dynasty Warriors game with little to no challenge, likely intended for child-aged or beginner-level gamers looking for something colorful and silly to play and watch as opposed to an actual epic with deep, complex gameplay elements.

If you like modern anime and the story-telling there, you'll love this game.

If you're looking for complex gameplay with intriguing plot twists beyond your average cliches and cheap, romance-related hooks, you're better off sticking to the PS1 and PS2 era of games. Read full review

Awesome game- a few flaws, but overall great (must buy for Fire Emblem fans!)

Bought this game on a whim, was not disappointed. I've never really played Fire Emblem, so I didn't really know the characters much outside of Super Smash Bros, but I was instantly hooked on the smooth character designs and flashy fighting sequences. The gameplay is definitely the most enjoyable part-- the aforementioned graphics are exciting; the Weapon Triangle, type advantage/disadvantages, and Pair Up system add an excellent strategy element to what would be just a kill-everything fighting game; and the ability to switch between and command characters adds more mulitasking and strategy to the mix.

Of course, the game is not without its flaws. The story is rather lacking in terms of real depth and development, which didn't surprise me much. There's also a certain amount of grinding that may or may not be necessary to progress once "late-game" hits (I don't actually know for sure, as I haven't gotten to that point yet), which, compounded with the fact that the game likely starts to become stale after a couple dozen hours of play, might be a turn-off to some people. Still, the game is very enjoyable, and is probably worth buying just to experience the flashy graphics and unique fusion of strategy and hack-and-slash. Fire Emblem Musou

If you're a fan of musou games this will definitely scratch the itch. I enjoy how you can choose to micromanage your units or have a blanket A.I. to take over for you. On Lunatic mode you have to pay attention to the weapon weaknesses. I'd say it's a fun game to play of you want to blow off some steam or just relax a little by cutting through hordes of enemies.Read full review

Fire emblem plus warriors it works

One of the better musou games it actually has more strategy to i then the other warriors game as in this game you are able to control and command multiple warriors and tell them to attack or defend while opening the map screen at any point. Reminds me of warrior empire titles. It looks and plays fine just wish they had put the expansion with the switch version.Read full review

I've always enjoyed Fire Emblem series. The new game play is like Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity. This game is faster pace than previous FE games.

Fire Emblem Warriors leaves turn base game play behind plays like Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity. The graphics are great and looks better on the Switch than the 3DXL.
