Surprise Treat

Been completing a little Bruce collection lately, getting a few of his more obscure movies (since he's decided to be Nicolas Cage and appear in 5 barely there roles a year lately..lol) This one was VERY good, kept me highly engaged, the movie of course is carried by the other 2 stars and boy is it a thrill ride. Both were excellent in their roles, the story was great, the villain was beyond hate worthy and the climax ...well...climactic. Bruce has dropped back to coasting along as a supporting cast member, albeit one with a great reputation, to produce a string of semi-action hero films. All good, as this one is,, but,, he needs a serious blockbuster as a leading man vehicle. I missed the Death Wish remake, but, maybe that will do it for him. . . . . . . or maybe he is just picking up cash, as it comes along. Can't fault him for that.
