Easy to install, good value, should be maintenance free for 7yrs

The Base plate makes for easy installation as the alarm slots straight in once you have fixed the base plate to the wall. Saves all the bother of trying to ensure screws line up with the base of the alarm when an alarm does not come with a base plate. I mention this because it's not always easy to align the screws precisely when drilling into plaster or brick as drill can drift of a little and that can make all the difference in aligning the alarm.
As the battery is sealed in with a life of 7yrs one can only hope that the replacement will match the existing base plate. FireAngel are usually quite good at doing this.

Good safety buy.

Bought this alarm to replace a similar 7yr life unit. The new unit worked straight out of the box so that should be the motorhome set up for 10 years, a good buy at a good price.
