Charming Cartoon format with a little yellow duck on every double page.

I used this book with my 36 year old daughter when she was little less than 2 years old and then with her brother. The delightful cartoon style by Stephen Cartwright is ideal for little people and entertaining for bigger people. There is a little yellow duck to find on every double page. We have this book in French, Chinese and Russian and I have just bought it in Spanish. I have bought it again for a friend, It is great value, in fact I don't think it costs much more now than when we bought it 35 years ago. It is quite useful to compare alongside other language versions for adults just starting another language.Read full review

A must have book for hours of enjoyment

First bought this book in 1980 for my daughter. It was then read by my son 1981 then grandson in 2020. It contains all the words a small child needs to learn. Also the pictures in the margins was a source of pleasure to find in the larger pictures. Finding the little yellow duck was great fun. Buying this book was for my granddaughter 2022 was because the other book was passed onto other relatives. Excellent book a must for all young children.Read full review
