This is basically plug and play. You do have to splice in a few wires. But they were easy. Instructions were fairly easy to understand. Only issue I had was when I went to hook up the door pin wire, the guide said the wire is purple and under the drivers kick panel. Non of the wires under the kick panel are purple. After I did some testing I found that the wire is actually in the door. So I had to run a wire through the door look to splice it in.
