Easy replacement in theory, but you need electrical connector and probably 'o' rings
My 12 year old Flojet was becoming increasingly noisy. The new pump is supposed to be the direct replacement, however the maximum pressure is 30psi, rather than the 25psi of the older pump. However, no leaks in the motorhome water system to date.
The new pump is very quiet compared to the old unit.
Very easy to install. Pump comes with two new in/out fittings with new 'o' rings. BUT, the new pump has bare end power cables, and my Swift motorhome used a neat little connector for the power supply. I couldn't find a specific replacement for this connector, but have made do with a (mains power) connector courtesy of Screwfix.
Likewise, I had difficulty sourcing an additional 'O' ring for the filter housing. I toured the local 'o' ring suppliers and they were able to offer replacements.Read full review...

Replacement Pump
Post pre-season clean and service of the caravan discovered that the water pump was playing up with an over heating motor. Needed a replacement ASAP as was planning on going away for a break within a week. Ordered this pump which arrived within 36 hours with all required fixtures and fittings making swapping it over literally a 10 minute job. New pump working well and providing good pressure on demand. Easy retro fit
Didn’t realise how annoying the water problem was until we changed the pump, prior to changing, we had to keep bleeding the air out of the taps, now once bled through the water runs freely
