Plan ahead, order ten gaskets.
A lot of consumers have Fluidmaster Flush systems in their home toilets. These units are built to last a long time, and when the only two rubber parts wear out, they are easy to replace. Those two parts are the rubber gasket at the top inside of the tower, and the rubber plug that is attached to the pull chain. If you have some spare gaskets and plugs you will be set for a lifetime virtually. So it pays to order ten of the gaskets and set them aside for eventual use in the years ahead. Be sure to order some plugs too. The sign that a gasket needs to be replaced is if the water continues to come into the bowl in drips after it should shut off completely. The sign that a plug needs to be replaced if if the toilet occasionally comes on to refill the tank when no one has used it due to water leaking past the plug. Directions for changing the gasket come with the instructions for the Fluidmaster, and changing the plug is easy if you just study the way it is snapped into place.Read full review

Tank fill valve
If you can hear the fill valve hissing or the tank takes a long time to refill ,this is the part at fault is pretty easy to change. It is made of rubber and it wears out once a year here.
Check Youtube for installation advise. Also buy more than one to have one ready to use.Read full review

Fix it...don't throw it away!
Replace this seal and continue to use your tank valve. You have to be careful when dis-assembling and re- assembling as the old valve may be a bit brittle due to age. If done carefully, you should get many more years of life from the used valve assembly. Read full review

This is all you need!
This is all you need to fix your leaky Toilet Valve. Don't buy a new valve, when this will fix it, and very easy to install.

Hi,
The toilet fill valve seal fit perfect and works great like new. No more leaks. No need to buy a new valve, better to replace parts, save the earth.
Thank you

Well Worth a try!
This fits the common "Red Cap" Kohler fill valve & is often a "2 minute fix" for slow leaking & noisy fill valves. A much better option to try before replacing the whole valve. It worked for me when just purging the valve didn't stop the running & squeaking.

OMG !! Such a simple fix. Works like new with no messing around with water pipes and wrenches.
Pop the top off the valve, pluck out the old rubber ring, pop in the new one and voila !
