Best Tank heater on the market

The three temperature colours for Blue for to cold, green for set temperature and red for to hot makes it easy to check water temperture even at distance. The heat being electronic instead of the tradional bi metal strip heater make it altra reliable, accurate, easy to set correct temp and safe from over heating. Accurate, easy to use, 5yr warranty

Realy happy with these fluval heaters. No fiddeling with tiny knobs to try adjusting heat increments. Easy lever on top to adjust in 1/2 degree increments. Seems very accurate as lv not had to touch it since being in use. Would recommend. BUT, l could not purchase here in Australia so bought from U.K. post took 2 weeks approx. Had to buy plug adaptor to use in Aus, so buy a good one! But it was in my opinion worth it.Read full review...

Good but over sensitive

Great heater but maybe too sensitive having a Colour warning light makes you twitchy all the time if it goes blue or red which mine does frequently it does it if temperature drops or raises one degree but still worry’s you , as with any other heater you wouldn’t even be aware and carry on regardless , also it regularly says low flow well I’ve got a fluval 406 filter running and the flow on that is good so? Had these for years

Good heater with 5 year guarantee but need to monitor temp. separately because can give a false reading when older (saying temp is 79 and light green when its 70 and should be blue). It tells you if flow around it is too low too. May need to unplug for 30 minutes to reset when it goes wrong but it gives good service and Hagen will replace it with a new one should it fail. I keep returning to this model and now have 4 of them - enough said.Read full review...
