Battery

It's a good machine pics up grass brill
One down side did think that batteries could lasted a bit longer
Or given a choice to buy heavy duty ones .
But over all yes I would buy another one from them as I saved £130 and with things the way they are at the m in it's a massive saving.
The mower was brand new as well couldn't tell what's was wrong if any as it was a gold one from Flymo
So end of the day I buy and recommend them

Lightweight and easy but does have issues.

I bought this Flymo to replace a battery operated mower that was heavy to operate. This one is much lighter but has some design issues. On the plus side it is light and easy to use. It has rear wheels and a rear roller which avoids the problem that my previous mower had with no rear roller. So when the rear wheels went over the edge of the lawn it would drop and shave the lawn edge, the Flymo is better having a rear roller. The Worst problem with this Flymo is the design of the blade cutting area. It blows the grass cuttings into the grass box OK, but when it comes to cleaning underside it is a nightmare. Whoever designed this didn't take cleaning into account. There are too many nooks, crevices, notches and other bits of plastic protruding that collect grass making it extremely difficult to remove the grass cuttings. See photos after I cleaned it, I should have took a photo before and after. will add one next time I use it. Also the setting of the PUSH button and levers is not the best when starting it, it still has a problem cutting out if you don't have a lot of pressure on the levers. Would I buy it again? No I don't think so. Flymo were excellent in dealing with the first issue and communicating so I have no problem with the company, but this mower is not the best designed one. The FREE cordless trimmer was nice but it is heavy and not easy to use in my opinion. It uses one of the batteries needed for the mower.Read full review...

Flynn 340R

Looked brand new, easy to assemble, so easy to use, cut my grass in less than half the time with electric picked all the grass up and I didn’t have to sweep the surrounding paths which was amazing, if u have been thinking about getting one of these-stop thinking and just get one! Really really impressed. 2 cuts so far and still on one charge 👍😁Read full review...

Great if your lawn is already manicured but less so for anything else

it is a neat compact and lightweight mower however the battery life is poor - I have an average sized lawn and had to recharge the batteries 3 times for the first cut on 5 which was frustrating.
r>The claimed 2 hour full recharge is also optimistic at best - more like 3-4 hours which added to the frustrating.

I had specifically gone for the recharge option over a corded version but now wish I hadn't as at least the corded version doesn't run flat.

Brilliant with no cables to worry about.

This mower is great, with no cable to trip or run over and cut, it makes the job much quicker and easier. We cut three lawns on one charge ( two at the back and one at the front) with power to spare.
It may be a problem for the first cut of the season, which may need to done at two different height settings if the grass is too long. It takes around three hours to recharge the batteries so that may be a problem if you have to cut twice. It seems to have plenty of power and is quiet. Easy to clean and simple to put away not having to reel up cables.

Bargain refurb. Good as new

Very pleased with this. Very cute and compact. Works well for my garden of 3m x 3m. Sharp blade helps! Nice and quiet. Once you’ve worked out the safety key, very easy to operate. Would definitely buy refurb again as can’t tell the difference from new. Read full review...

Great value for a great product

I bought this as a second mower to cut the front lawn. It is small and neat, easy to store and very easy to use. Could not be happier and would recommend strongly to others.

Good but flawed

Without the cable this product makes mowing a lot easier, however, after a couple of uses the batteries failed, and replacements were so expensive and difficult to acquire that it was more cost effective to buy a new mower. This seems to be a serious problem with battery operated equipment. batteries don't last long and are expensive.
My old cable Flymo lasted for years and worked faultlessly, maybe return to cable after these fail.

good- light weight and easy to operate
