Play music in the way the sound engineer intended you to hear it…
Outstanding clarity from these speakers particularly when paired with the Yamaha AS701 natural sound amp rated 100w per channel into 8 ohms. You will notice instruments on recordings that you paid no attention to in the past and they make drums sound like the drummer is in the room with you - and that is just from vinyl! The three bass drivers in each speaker make the bass tight and punchy and subtly well balanced in relation to the rest of the mix. Read full review

Focal does speakers well
I just passed 30 hrs of break in. These speakers are fantastic sounding. They have great imaging, soundstage and a natural sound to them. 1 caveat though they don't have as much of the Focal in house sound. The brightness is tamed done. Not as much of the Focal sparkle to them. Like I wrote early they have a natural sound to them
The mids are warmer. The bass is good. I ran them through 12 test songs recommended by Whathifi.com. Wow they passed the test with flying colors. I highly recommend these speakers.Read full review
