Ease of use with excellent results

Added half of the bottle to the filter housing along with a new filter and the rest to 1/4 tank of BP Ultimate diesel after getting engine up to temp...
My Pug 406 HDI has covered 200,000 plus miles, egr blanked and cold air feed, I change oil regular intervals but recently had noticed baulky running and loss of power.
After using this the amount of crud that came out of exhaust along with black smoke that lasted about half a minute was good to see.
Worked a treat with smooth running, crisper response and better mpg !
Not sure you would see a great change on a newer lower mileage car but well worth it on an older diesel...will be using every 6 months from now on.Read full review

Very bad bottle design ! complete Waste of Money !

Complete waste of money as the design of the bottle is terrible.

I have a 2012 Ford Galaxy and when I tried to insert the Forte into the fuel tank, the bottle was unable to push open the fuel flap and spilled down the body of the car and onto the ground !

I tried a number of times to insert the top of the bottle into the fuel flap with varying degrees of force but to no avail and virtually all of the Forte liquid ended up on the side of the car and onto the ground.

Hardly any of the Forte liquid went into the fuel tank as the top of the bottle could not push open the flap and seems too wide ?

Wynne's Diesels Injector cleaners bottle is much narrower and you are able to force the flap open on the Galaxy.

The Galaxy does not have a screwable fuel cap: you open the fuel flap on the body of the car and the hole for the fuel tank has a metal cover over it and you push in the diesel nozzle and it then opens up.

The Forte bottle is too wide to allow pressure to open the metal cover and is the reason why all my Forte fluid was wasted.

I would suggest that Forte take a look and redesign there bottle so it is like the Wynne Diesel Injector Cleaner bottle.

It's a real shame as I have heard that the Forte Cleaner is excellent but alas, i will never know !Read full review

Came highly recommended to me by a local garage that I really trust. Having used it I have to say that I trust my local garage even more. No smoke while it is consumed by the engine, just better fuel economy afterwards.

The only difficulty was pouring it down the fuel delivery pipe, because the neck of the bottle is narrow and my car needs a fuel delivery nozzle of a specific diameter to open the lock (which prevents you from putting the wrong fuel in the tank by mistake).Read full review

Forte Diesel Treatment - great for older diesels

Was put on to this stuff by a mechanic who swore by it. Not usually available in high street shops so am happy can get it online. Keeps the engine internals nice and clean and especially the injectors - useful to add just before the MOT so that the tester doesn't necessarily have to ramp the living daylights out of your engine, because it does lower the emissions. A bit more pricy than the commonly available treatments but worth every penny.Read full review
