gets the job done

I bought this b/c we use a FortiGate in production at work, and I wanted to become more familiar with configuring things. This one can't be upgraded to the latest OS version, but the GUI is still similar enough to be useful. I don't plan to use it full-time b/c I'd rather use something with less power consumption and that can handle port forwarding more gracefully. I couldn't get this FW to do port forwarding using its own WAN IP address for NAT, so consider your use case. I do like that you can apply FQDN-based firewall policies.Read full review

Best Bang for the Buck

One of the best firewall appliance companies around without the "C" word pricing. I use their firewalls at work and is still affordable that I use them at home as well.
