Friday Night Lights-the movie.
I love this movie. I bought it brand new when it came out-and watched it so much that it has been damaged. I was happy to see the movie available on ebay for such a great price. I love all sports movies-and Friday Night Lights is one of the very best. It gives the viewer insight into the pressure that high school football players in Texas are under, and a peek into the life of the coach-and the pressure he is under from the school, the fans, the boosters, and the town. There are great action shots, a story line about a gifted athlete who gets injured, a quarterback whose mother is ill, and a volitale father/son relationship. The story is about a series of events that lead up to the high school championship. Every time I watch it, I expect a different outcome. We purchased this movie as a gift for a dear friend of ours. She was ranting and raving about it and told us that she couldn't find it anywhere near her home. She was very pleased to get it needless to say. We hope to watch one day. Maybe we'll borrow it.Read full review...
Very Good!
Friday Night Lights is a great movie. It displays the sportsmanship that every team needs. This movie makes you cheer for the team! I could certainly have done without the party scene though.

Based on a true story, it's an excellent flick. Read the book, it's even better! Football really is this crazy in Texas!
