Great Standard Zoom Lens
The XF 16-55mm f/2.8 is a great Fuji lens that lives up to their red badge label in every way. The build quality is excellent, it is weather resistant, the aperture ring has a great feel, the zoom is smooth, and it is sharp enough to shoot wide open at every focal length. It is a delight to shoot with on the X-H1, a perfectly balanced feel.Read full review

First Lens to Buy If You're a Fuji-X Photographer
If you're a Fuji-X photographer, whatever you've read about this Red Badge lens is true - it's sharp, fast and one of the best Fuji lenses ever made. Its zoom range is very practical, and its f2.8 aperture is constant throughout. If you already own the 18-55mm f2.8-4 OIS LM R, another excellent lens that is lighter and less expensive, you might wait a bit before putting down some serious money for the 16-55mm, because the 18-55mm is almost as sharp and almost as fast. But if you haven't bought any lenses yet, this is the one to get. You will never regret it.Read full review

Bag of primes this lens is!
They say it is as good as a bag of prime lenses. They are probably right.
Very sharp. Excellent images come from this lens.
It is heavy.....but it fits well with an X-T4.
It is very fast focusing and you can tell that this is a professional lens.
Highly recommended. Read full review

Sharp fast lens
Love it except it's very heavy and big which in some ways defeats the purpose of an APS sensor camera. This is great if you are covering an event and need to get a variety of shots quickly. Not great for carrying abound all day as it is a bit top heavy on a fuji frame.
Nice bokeh and very quick focus.Read full review

Perfect Standard Lens
I have a Fujifilm XE-1 camera that I just love. In the past I've always used that camera with my Nikon AI-S manual focus prime lenses. While I get fantastic results using the Nikkors I often wished I had a modest zoom of comparable quality. This lens does just that, giving me the convenience of a standard zoom plus the feel of a quality lens. The lens is fast enough for all but extreme situations but I seldom grab one of my Nikkor primes to get an extra stop or two. All in all I'm very pleased with this lens. The fact that it has OIS (image stabilization) and auto focus makes it just perfect for this old guy.Read full review

Fuji 16-55mm f2.8.
This lens performs! It's big and heavy, but I feel it's worth the trouble. My copy is sharp full frame and has a great mechanical feel. I'd rate the aperture ring a bit stiff, but this is much better than soft as I've found in other fuji lenses. If you can accept the weight, you won't fine much to complain about performance wise.Read full review

Amazing Sharp Lens
What an amazing lens! The image is tack sharp, and the build is solid. While I'm early in my purchase and use, already I have noticed a distinct sharpness on the camera. I can't wait to see the files on the computer. So far, definitely worth the purchase and it's good to know that it's a forward compatible lens with all new Fujifilm cameras.Read full review

Very useful little lens, better than expected!
This lens is quite sharp at 18mm and a bit weaker at 55mm. Both are usually switched in a "zoom" lens but are just the way I'd prefer them. The short end works nicely with my landscape work while the 55mm end is a bit soft so works well with people pictures.Read full review

Best zoom lens.
As good as the 50-140 if not better lightning fast focus great lens. Not to big but works better with a grip. I found I liked the smaller grip more then the battery grip but I use both as needed. Save your pennies and buy this lens your art will thank you.Read full review

Go Fujinon R or Go Home
Top Flight Lens from the Fujinon R Series and a clear upgrade from the 18-135 I've been using. The 2.8 aperture is a real blessing!
