The finer details...

I find Funko can be a bit hit and miss with character representation in Pop figures. Often I've waited eagerly for Pop's to be made for a franchise and then been disappointed by the end result. Usually it comes down to how much effort has been put in to the detailing and unfortunately many 'humanoid' Pop's end up looking pretty generic because of a lack of detail. However, they've really outdone themselves with the Monster Hunter figures, the Zinogre especially. It's a really hefty figure with practically every inch of it covered in pronounced fur and scale textures. The painting is a little slapdash around the edges (as usual) but overall it's a really great model. I'm surprised it wasn't brought out as a 6" Pop. Definitely worth the money and now one of my favourite Pop figures I own. Just hope they bring out some more monsters from the franchise and not just leave it at the Zinogre and Rathalos.
