Best cap I’ve used
I put off getting one of these for a long time because I believed (wrongly) that a capo which cost way more than an average price one couldn’t be that much better. It is. It goes on easily, does not block my playing, and seems to keep the strings from going out of tune. It may be psychological, but it even sounds better to me when I’m playing.Read full review...

Badly designed and overpriced.
I bought a G7th 12-string capo before this, and the serrated rubber really does even out the tension on the paired thick and thin strings, keeping the guitar in good tune.
On the strength of that I bought this 6-string version, but the rubber is the wrong way round, in my opinion.
It's thick over the thick bass strings, and thin over the thin treble strings.
You therefore have to exert a lot of pressure on the bass strings to get the trebles held down, and that puts the guitar out of tune.
Not only that, but the capo can swivel around in position, unless you crank the pressure up ridiculously high.
I gave it 2 stars because it works well on my electrics, but on acoustics, with their thicker strings and slightly higher action, it's no better than my cheap capos - just £20 more expensive!
If you're looking for a good capo check out the ACT version of the G7th capo (adaptive radius technology) which is supposed to overcome this problem - another tenner, at least, on the price tho!Read full review...

G7th Capo
This is definitely the best capo I have used. This capo is very secure and uniformly depresses each string across the fingerboard like no other, even tight there is no worries of damage to your guitar due to the thickness and density of the rubber. Is this capo worth the money? Well the answer is that if you want a well engineered secure capo and you don't want to damage your guitar then the answer is yes. There are similar capo's on the market but none look as sleek and have that low profile sat on your fingerboard. I would definitely recommend this product and would buy another, overall I can't fault it. 5 *Read full review...

Not cheap, but excellent product
Not cheap, but excellent product. Adjustable pressure and a quick release - good for a quick change between song. Somebody bought me one for my banjo and I liked it so much that I bought myself one the same for guitar (even though I have several already)Read full review...
