Very good but too expensive.

Used this on inkjet printed decals for model cars, it works quite well but needs several light coats to get the mirror gloss finish required to protect the ink on waterslide decals. Not Gloss.

I thought this would make my colours on my prints “pop” and give it a nice gloss finish. It did neither. Not sure if “gloss” means it should be used on prints that already have a gloss finish?
However, I will continue to use on prints to preserve colours, not sure whether that works though as I’ve not have a print that’s coated with this long enough to know. Feels like it will coat many prints, so at the moment seems like a bargain, even though it doesn’t do what I wanted it for.
Smells of varnish but I love that smell, just make sure you use it outside or a well ventilated area.
I coated my card stock, 250, 280 and 300 gsm, some textured and some smooth, and it didn’t effect the paper so that’s good.
No instructions on the can, so winged it, guessed to hold it around 5-10cm away from the print, crossed my fingers and sprayed.

Definitely do not buy if you’re looking for a gloss finish! Read full review
