Only buy this if you're comfortable with completely dismantling and swapping thermal pads.

Stock thermal pads might as well me made from chewing gum. As soon as you install the card the VRAM memory junction temperatures are way too high. You're basically forced to dismantle your £1000+ graphics card and cut out your own replacement thermal pads for it, because the standard ones leak oil. Good luck getting the thicknesses right. Gigabyte won't tell you those measurements. Once you get that done though your temps will be sweet. The cooler is huge and will dissipate that heat very well now that you can actually transfer the energy from the chips to the metal.Read full review...

Great Gaming Card but noisy under load!

Great jump over Turing with performance, but most 3080 cards have fairly noisy coil whine at load, google 'undervolting' and this help you reduce temps/noise/wattage by a significant amount.
