GIGABYTE Z690 UD DDR4 LGA 1700 ATX Intel Motherboard

My first foray into Z690 land. Easy to set up.

My first foray into Z690 land and a conservative one opting for a safe install to start with so I chose this board. Having used Gigabyte boards in the past with no problems it was a no brainer. Nicely laid out with labels on each port that you can actually read easily. The ports are laid out well in the right places and building my first AIO setup it was easy. The manual is a little non descriptive regarding some of the ports especially the fan headers but the info you want can be found on YouTube. Once everything was plugged in the board was put into a case and fired up first time with no problem at all. CAUTION. DO NOT update the BIOS. I thought it a good idea while downloading the software to update to the latest and it bricked it. Luckily clearing the CMOS reverted it so be warned. IT works fine now and so far so good.
