I have recently bought this and set it uo in my modest home gym, which is a sectioned off part of my double garage a little smaller than the size of a single garage. The cable crossover was easy to put together with easy-to-understand instructions. When up, it is more than sturdy enough for a home gym and I can do all the exercises on it that I imagined. Excellent value for money.
However, the handles that are meant to be fixed to the uprights are completely pointless and I've never seen anything like it in any other gym - they get in the way when using both the upper and lower pulleys and it is much more convenient to just grab hold of the upright. Needless to say, I've taken the handles off and now have a few nuts and bolts spare now. Also, whilst the stirrup handles and the rope are of great quality, the two straight bar attachments are poor and the handles slide off the ends when used. Luckily I have another chrome flat bar attachment which I can use instead as the ones that came with the crossover are now redundant and useless to be honest.
Aside from the above two negatives, the machine is everything one could want from a cable crossover - compact, easy to use and assemble, heavy enough for intermediate use (90kg per side is awesome for lat pull downs etc.. (again, with a different bar I already owned)) and nice to look at.
Owuld definitely recommend, with just a few notes to a new buyer. Bear in mind though, nothing is perfect. Read full review

Great piece of equipment
I am really please we have been able to set up a gym at home especially during yet another lock down. It is a shame this has increased in price so much, my brother paid £200 less than me not long ago, but people are cashing in on these things I suppose.
Just glad we got one before they sold out.

Nice piece of equipment, slight fault with the design though
Really good piece of equipment. Managed to get 4 years out of the previous version of this machine. There is a slight fault with the machine, as you pull the cables, if the tension is not distributed equally the stress gets put on the base stand. Over time this causes the base stand to snap (which can be dangerous depending where the equipment is situated). I cannot see that they have addressed this problem with this version as the stand seems to have the same issue. You should get 4 years out of the equipment depending on how much weight you move. Just received my Gym master Cable Machine, the product is exactly as I expected it which is amazing considering the price. It’s perfect for a home gym.
Does take a couple of hours to build but once done it works perfectly!

Great quality product, worth every penny
Cannot be happier with this item. I thought about buying this for a few weeks and decided to take the risk and it has paid off! The pulley system really smooth when in use, and the resistance is consistent throughout a whole rep (I used to have a maximuscle multi-gym which provided no resistance on the eccentric portion of the moment) which makes the machine feel very close to commercial gym quality. Suprisingly good for entry level crossover!
Its a brilliant bit of kit for the price (offer was on st the time as well). Ive been working out in various gyms for years and thought this entry level solution would be a poor substitute....but its actually decent. Not perfect, the wieght handle bars are basic, but the stirrups and the rope is A1. Took my a few hours to set it all up perfectly, changing a couple of bits versus the diagram on the way...it is now all spot on and does a great job. Good job!!!Read full review
