Poles are a bit short and net, rackets, poles could easily be broken if not careful. We weren't looking for professional quality, though, lower price was more important for kids ( and adult) backyard fun. Summer Fun

We got this set for a Croquet/Badminton get together, with an assortment of adults and kids.

Setting up the net required basic Boy Scout skills, and took maybe 10 minutes.

The kids played Badminton all day, and it was quite a hit.

For our purposes, this was entirely functional, and I expect to use it for years.

A more expensive and substantial setup is appropriate to a school or camp or somewhere that it will be used constantly, but this is spot on for our needs.Read full review

Could be a little better

We have had great fun with this, so far. The shuttles are plastic. Do not hold their form, and came somewhat flattened. You have to hit them very hard to get a little distance. I ordered some number 77s which are between duds and pro speed. Set did not come with any instructions at all. A basics of the game would have been nice.
