Lightweight in every sense

Good solid product

Fitting does take a bit of time as there's quite a few holes to drill, and you'll need a pop rivet gun, a variety of metal drill bits up to 13mm, and a hacksaw to cut down the bolt length if you don't have a wooden door, but the product is solid and definitely beefs up the security of your door. Solid, secure, simple

Solidly manufactured, very simple to install. Really provides a secure, deep locking into the garage door frame. This will definitely make it very much harder and a lot noisier for anyone to attempt to pry or break the door open.
I chose this particular unit as it comes with 4 keys, when the standard is usually only 3. better to have an extra spare that to have to go looking for one later on. The extra cost was about the same as getting another key cut, so just really future-proofs the locks.
It struck me, when fitting, that should the need ever arise to replace the door these lock units would be simple to remove and refit to the new door.Read full review
