Poor quality, loose pivots
The whole item is poorly made. There is a huge amount of play in the pivot points, meaning the blade often gouges the metal opposite it on closing. Also, I have used ratchet secateurs before, but the design of these is seriously flawed. When using the grips correctly you can only open your hand wide enough to fit a very very thin branch between the blade and anvil, and if you open your hand wider you can not put any power into the cut. As a landscape gardener I would not recommend these to anyone, even a hobbyist. Stick with Wilkinson sword.Read full review...

I received the secateurs very promptly but was disappointed with the quality the reason for this is that the bottom of the secateurs looks like it is plastic and the top blade is offline with it . this just maybe my luck but I can only comment on the product that I have received . Ratchet Secateurs
I bought these as I have a problem gripping normal secateurs. These are so much easier to use and cut easily.

Much easier than normal secateurs
Cut through thicker branches without have to use force just keep using the ratchet mechanism to do the work. Wouldn't go back to normal secateurs now.
