Garmin stuff is problematic
Garmin stuff is problematic. I initially purchased this to use the parking guard feature, which is supposed to stay on for the alloted time shown on the Garmin power plug. Not the case.
When plugged in the power connector's red LED is lit, so it's got power, but it fails to turn on the 2 Garmin cameras. They will come on once you press one of their buttons, but will NOT power on once your vehicle is started.
There are just too many problems associated with this plug for me to recommend it, and I will probably have to return it. I've been in touch with their customer support to try and figure out the issues. It may have everything to do with their parking guard.Read full review
