Great things in small packages

Lots of features in this little box. Not the newest, but still very capable. Easy to use, easy to see, and did I mention it is small? Doesn't use very much stack space.

Please leave a pigtail

Great addition to an RV-8 avionics package, highly recommended by friends who fly. Haven’t powered up the SL-30 yet but still in the build. It would have been nice if the VOR/GS input cables would have been cut off with six inch pigtails. The connectors where destroyed by clipping the cables right at the connectors? Frustrating but we where able to replace with spare parts.Read full review

Still a good NAVCOMM

The SL30 is still a great NAVCOMM and it's serial interface allows RS232 data to be shared with other digital avionics and flight control systems
