Excellent Sat Nav

Tried our new Garmin 890 out in the motorhome. The screen fixing is solid and easy to set up provides great positioning. When using the sat nav in conjunction with your phone Garmin Drive makes route planning easy just choose your destination in many ways Google Maps What3words etc share with Garmin Drive and send to Garmin sat nav via Bluetooth /Wifi easy. The screen is large and clear sound is good live updates when connected to phone. The magnetic holder is great easy to remove and fix. Just remember when using sat nav it must be powered the 12v plug via the magnetic holder tried using it via the mini usb socket in the unit this does not provide enough power and will go into sleep mode so always use the 12v socket. In summary for motorhomes large vehicles its ideal you can input length height weights etc so in theory it will keep off unsuitable roads but use your common sense it's not fool proof. Good value product

Although this is a refurbished product, cannot fault the quality.
No obvious damage and all parts/accessories were with the Sat Nav.
Item was well packaged and delivery was very swift.
Not used it on the road as yet, but setup was very easy - especially if combined with the Drive App on a smart phone.
