Garmin Edge Explore
Excellent tool for cyclist. Lightweight. Feature full. Clear screen for mapping. Easy to download GPX files to the unit. Large screen shows all the usual data.
The baby of the Garmin Edge suite of GPS models but has many of the features found in the more expensive models.
An excellent choice for beginners to GPS.

A great cycling GPS unit, for those who don't want all the cadence and performance monitors.
Edge Explore seems good. Slightly bigger screen than the older Garmin Touring one. Has some good connected features (phone notification, accident texts and uploading without connecting to pc). Overall, it’s a good unit – does everything you'd expect and probably more - still playing around with the settings!Read full review

Love It
So happy with my purchase. Item arrived incredibly quickly and I couldn't wait to get started. I'm not fabulous with with technology but I had no problems setting it up and found it easy to use on my cycle ride. Having linked the Explore to the Garmin connect app I can now plan courses on the app and send them to my Explore. Love the little prompts telling me when to take a left or right turn . Also love that my family can follow my progress from home, makes me feel safe that they know where I am especially if I get a puncture ! Great little gadget Read full review
Easy to use, intuitive and packed full of features.
Easy to use, intuitive and packed full of features. Links to all manner of sensors and to your mobile. Very good value for a fast colour bike computer.

Great when you get it working. More instructions would have been helpful
It is excellent now that I have got it working. It took me 6 weeks to figure it out. I am still not sure how it works but it's is now doing what I want. You need to download a Garmin connect app to to your connected phone to be able to transfer Strava routes and data, something that is not made clear.Read full review

Great but battery issue
Works like new
No problems. Loads maps and battery last for 8 hours of non stop use. Sometimes it depletes really quickly to 1% but it won’t turn off for hours. Always reliable
Would recommend
Connecting with Komoot makes a great experience. The device syncs my biking workouts to my other garmin regimes as well. The touchscreen and good battery life are distinct advantages.
Great Product For The Novice Cyclist
I’ve been cycling for a while but have never been obsessed by data, power meters etc.
The Edge Explore is perfect because it doesn’t have the capacity to pair with a smart meter, it just gets you from A to B and is perfect for those who are just getting into cycling or those who just ride and follow their nose as hoc as they go.Read full review

Garmin Edge Tourer.
So much better than using Strava on an Android phone. Reliable recording and full of useful info. Highly recommended.
