Used to the Xbox one Controllers? Switched to a PS4? This is for you.
Having used an Xbox since day one, we decided to get a PS4 Too, I really struggled with the lay out of the PS4 Controllers Awkward thumb positions on the toggles. This however changed my gaming on it. Yes the PS4 controllers seem superior in what they do but the comfort and position of this is very much like the Xbox and suited me much better. Was easy to update using the PC and following the online instruction, took about 2 minutes and now works flawlessly on the PS4. Well worth it at the price you can get these for...and no recharging. Only down side is now jack for the Headset but that just stops me shouting at others :).Read full review

Its ok for the price... But...
The controller we received works well, but seems to disconnect all on its own accord- with the USB still connected? You have to physically remove the USB and re insert the USB to get it to work again...We never noticed straight away as it was a busy Xmas period, and maybe this one is faulty... It's a shame because it's half the price of the official controller.Read full review

Used it once straight out the box for 10 mins was acceptable*,then my character on cod zombies just span on the spot (had to unplug the controller and plug it back in to get it to work again) so I tried to update the firmware (complete faf about, there's 2 firmwares and the controller just kept failing the firmware update, eventually it worked) tried controller again and although it seemed to no longer disconnect the movement on the controller is jaggy at best (if you use a ds4 then switch to this it just is not anywhere near as smooth or precise) 1/5 avoid at all costs.Read full review

Buy cheap, buy twice!
So I was desperate to buy a replacement controller when my previous standard issue PS4 controller died it's death; after serving it's time well. I purchased this Gator Claw and it's rubbish. A slight move of the wire and it disconnects itself. The buttons are already sticking after just a couple of uses. DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT!Read full review

Pretty good for the price...
It is a wired controller however, the cable is nice and long at 3m and the controller has a nice feel to it too. It has a nice feel and the buttons do feel a bit cheap but does not lack in performance.
The only negative thing about the controller is that a firmware update is required when the PS4 firmware is update. The process is quite simple really, just plug in the controller to a PC/Laptop and click update via the software. I never got a link to the software on the refurbished package but wasn't difficult to find via Google search.
Overall it's good value for money and may consider purchasing another.Read full review

Not the best of products. Thought it looked good but just cheap looking unlike branded ones . Would much prefer to save and purchase a branded one . Ok to use for emergency .
A decent cheap second controller
Bought this as a cheap second controller for playing lbp3 with my son, and it does the job fine. The firmware needs to be updated each time PS4 is updated and it's easy enough to do. Only thing that doesn't make sense are the button markings don't match a ps4 controller.Read full review

Almost... maybe
The analog sticks feel great, but they are WAY too sensitive. On a scale of 1 to 10, they're about a 30. Also, while I don't expect a lot of third party controllers to have a touch pad, even as just a touch button his fails miserably. There's no left/right touch button, and even in games that only use a single touch button, this one often doesn't register! That means even the hardware configuration for it fails. It also lacks a headphone jack, which sucks considering it uses up a usb slot on the PS4.Read full review
