My cistern now flushes beautifully.
I am not a plumber but was able to easily fit this new flush valve and buttons.
The old one looked identical but needed replacing after 18 years use. I am hoping this one will last as well or longer.

Good value replacement of the Ideal Standard Dual Flush Valve
Although I only needed the top part of the dual flush valve, I ordered the whole unit and kept the bottom part as a spare, for future use. It was easy to install and after I changed the rubber diagraph in the inlet valve I ended up with a toilet cistern as good as new! From a trickle to a fast fill in a matter of minutes and a great flush to boot! No plumber required and every one is very happy with my handywork.Read full review
