Genesis live the shorts

Seen them live and went to Earl's court and knebworth in 1992 both concerts were great only thing I was disappointed with is they split the live recordings into two live albums with the longs a 6 track CD witched followed it would have been better as one double album on CD,I also wish they would release the wembley stadium concerts from 1987 the ivisable touch tour .l love their music when done live and these albums prove they still have what it takes to entertain fans both old and new theirs nothing like a old Genesis 70s song from the past check out the longs gives you a idea of their progrock past.Read full review...

Fairly fun

I am not a big fan of live albums - I bought this one in error not realising it was a concert album until I had already confirmed my bid.

That said, this is fairly fun, and the sound quality is good enough that it doesn't compare too badly to the studio versions.

This is Genesis in "Phil Collin's heavy pop mode", but quite a good driving album even if there is no great depth and meaning to the happy pop songs contained here.Read full review...

Genesis the way we walk vol 1

i like genesis myself, but i bought the cd for my twin sons, who have shown an interest in Phil Collins and Genesis. I think this sort of music is much better for the younger generation, so instead of them listening to MnM and other rubbish i jumped at the chance to but then this cd. They are both very pleased with it, and for two fourteen year olds, that a good thing.Read full review...
