Mid life upgrade to an already good product
Got this to replace it's predecessor. The replacement of the saw blade is an excellent step. The replacement saw is actually a carbide edged jigsaw blade - uses one of the two types of blade commonly found in your DIY. So if the blade breaks, you cna go to Screwfix / Toolstation / Wickes / B&Y / etc, and buy a new pack of 3 or 5, or whatever. You can also replace the blade with a wood or normal metal cutting blade if you prefer. The wire cutter jaws use a 3 sided indexable inset on each side. I'm not familiar with modern machine centre replaceable tip tooling, but there is a good chance the inserts are common off-the-shelf there too (but you won't get those from the local DIY!!!). Not looked to see if spares are readily available. Either way, absolutely excellent revisions to a benchmark design. Hope this lasts 20+ years before I loose it!Read full review

Clever one hand design...
This tool has a clever one hand flick deployment for the main pincer. While an over all improvement on the Diesel - replaceable wire cutters and saw blades - it lacks even a rudimentary blade. Which, while making it street legal in the U.K., costs much in usefulness.Read full review

Gerber mp600
Have had a leatherman for about 10 years but its not legal to carry in the UK due to the locking blade. This multitool solves that problem now I always have it on me and don’t worry. the one handed opening works well.Read full review

Well made and not too heavy. Take it with me every where because of no blade. Get what you pay for.
