Bittersweet with a surreal ending

The film opens with a high school girl dancing around to Bollywood music, and that is as happy as she ever gets. Her life slowly falls apart over the course of the movie until she is left no choice but to embrace a sad, mysterious fate at the end, puzzling yet perfect in its surreal, wistful finality.
