Gigaset a220a Telephone answering machine - good & inexpensive. relatively simple to set up.
The ringer IS loud enough [unlike one "reviewer's" comments on Y0u-Tu8e].
My only criticism is that there is no 'at-a-glance' indicator to indicate that messages are present.
One must pick up the phone and look at the display.
