Good starter kit

This is a nice kit for someone just starting on studio photography. The lights and stands seem good quality with good functions. The softbox is very sturdy and works very well, although it takes a little practice to assemble. I have only used the white background so far, but will be replacing this with a better quality material, as the creases are virtually impossible to remove and can show up on pictures.

I have only used this to shoot small children and adults sitting down or portraits. If you want to do full height adults I think you would need additional lights and bigger backdrop.Read full review

Just a couple of things to note.

These are great beginner strobes. They seem well made and recharge about as quickly as a Speedlight using good AA rechargables (About 1.7 Seconds on Full power)

Please be aware that they only cover about 4 Stops of range. 5.0 to 7.0 power.

Minimum power is equivalent to about full power on a Speedlight. You will have to move your lights back, get larger modifiers or use more diffusion to get very soft light shots.Read full review

great piece of kit. got this to set up in my garage soft boxes are easy to put together despite what many say. just watch youtube someone will show you how to assemble them. the backdrops arent so good still trying to get the folds out but apart from that they seem spot on.Read full review
