Not as good as my 50 year old edition

I bought this more up-to date (not the latest) edition because my 50-year-old Good Housekeeping Cookbook had started to disintegrate. The recipes and layout of the old book is superior. Some of the quantities and cooking times in the newer book are daft.
Despite its tatty state, I will continue to use the 50-year-old book.

Content is good with plenty of ideas - both new and old!
Yes it was used and that is fine BUT it came with a strong musty smell which I found off putting for a cook book in particular
