Tried other products to cure leak in my porch roof guttering none effective till i tried this product. Used two tins as i had 4 corner joints plus 6 metres of gutter. Not Quite as Advertised

I bought Sealfix to stop up a gap where the tap of my water butt didn't quite meet the edges of the hole, allowing water to seep out. The product clearly claimed that it could be applied directly to wet surfaces and that it would adhere to them. This seemed unlikely, but I thought I would try it. It turned out that it did NOT do what it claimed. It is an oil-based product, so (as I would have expected) it was repelled by water. It did form a solid material, once it had dried, but it was not sufficiently attached to the plastic of the water butt to prevent water from coming out. However, after I had emptied the water butt and allowed it to dry, i reapplied Sealfix and it DID work. So, like any mastic, it worked when applied to a dry surface. Fair enough, but it DOES CLAIM TO STICK TO A WET SURFACE - which is untrue.Read full review

Waterproof it

It seals holes very well , you can put tape over hole to stop product falling through bang this on top and leak will stop it's not unlike fibreglass but doesn't set as hard in stays flexible , it gives off strong smell use mask with this paint it on and throw the brush away not worth cleaning it so get cheap brushesRead full review

Did the job

I had 2 small areas to seal between my box gutter and conservator guttering, so required a small tin of product, ( this tin was ideal) instructions in German , but easily translate able.
Application is a little messy, but product hardens well and stopped water immediately.Read full review

Seal fix

I have used the seal fix around the bath and it has stopped the leaks. It is a bit gooey to use
