It would be 5 star with these small improvements;
Ability to rename Google to personal choice, if you are bored of "Ok/Hey Google" try "OK Boo Boo" it does work. :-)
The addition of phone calls - this is already happening in the USA.

When used injunction with a Chromecast device very good for Netflix/Spotify members.

Got the bigger version as we mainly listen to music on Spotify. Good sound quality compared with google dot which we had before which works the same but a bit tinny for music. Can also get all mainstreem radio stations which we didn't realise until reading instructions. There is a graphic equilizer so can aslo adjust treble and bass.Read full review...

Great product

Works well, useful features. I use it to control some cheap smart lights, listen to spotify or podcasts whilst in the kitchen or doing some ironing. Easy sync with phone and google account, as well as the google home app.

Hopefully future development of the assistant adds more features and more adaptive learning so I don't have to think of how to rephrase what I want it to do.Read full review...

Excellent and easy setup

Some disloyalty and frustrating interpretation

I really enjoyed this when we first got it. We have not been very adventurous with it yet however and mainly use it for asking to play music. However, it sometimes says there has been a glitch and to try again in 2 minutes. This can sometimes last for ten minutes or more, and it can also totally misinterpret what you have asked for. Recently it kept playing a song by an artist who had a name nothing like what I was asking for.

Generally it has been good for answering simple questions and playing music from Google Music when I had friends over but, having painstakingly set up the voice recognition I was disappointed that all the people who spoke to it were being acknowledged and having their questions answered. It did avoid us having to set it up to recognise my son’s voice, but I thought it was meant to be loyal to its owners only 🤔Read full review...

Better Sound Output than Mini

Setting up is relatively easy. The more you want this to work for you the better you need to be more adventurous with the settings. Great sound quality for the size, much better than the mini. Small and functional

I have two of these. Great for listening to music, radio, setting alarms, timers and adding things to the shopping list, all by voice. Works well but not on things I want.

I bought this as a trial to see if I could put these around the house. I am glad that I only bought one. It is excellent as long as I want to use it on things that Google wants me to use. I specifically wanted to listen to Greatest Hits Radio and GBNews. Neither of these seem to work through this product.Read full review...
