Good solid stand
When I was looking for a suitable projector stand I wanted something strong and robust with a decent sized table. There are several choices out there that tick these boxes, but what decided me on this stand was the more simplistic design than others, with a nice flat table that is not enclosed with side edges. I will keep the table reasonably horizontal, so don't need the restricting enclosure. It is quite light in weight and yet sturdy enough to hold the equipment. Construction qualtity could be better
A little fiddly to assemble as it needs to be done in the right order.
The plate at the top is aprroximately 5mm thick plastic and therefore slightly flexible.
The main problem was with the horizontal bar at the top of the T piece not being at a perfect 90 degree angle. This means that my projector was leaning to the side.
The bar was only held on by two tack welds that actually allowed the bar to pivot. In trying to straighten it (using very little force) the welds broke on day one. Luckily I have a friend with a welder who could repair it for me.
Now it does the job, but I'm sure there are better quality solutions out there.Read full review...

Gorilla stand
Bought this as a stand for my Mac Book Air while I use my indoor bike trainer.
It's stable, sturdy and the table is very large. Large enough for the computer and mouse, probably speakers as well.

on opening and remove from the box I noticed the weld on the tube that holds the laptop platform was cracked and the platform surface is too slippery to hold the laptop.
